Privacy policy

Last updated 15 October 2026

Cam McCollum is the trading name of Cameron McCollum, a sole trader (ABN 20 204 677 907). This policy explains what information I collect when I build and look after websites, why, and how it is protected. I follow the Australian Privacy Principles.

What I collect

Google Analytics and Search Console data

When you share your Google Analytics or Google Search Console with me (by adding cammccollum@gmail.com to your property), my office software reads that data with read-only access. I use it for one purpose: to check that I am delivering on what I promised you. That means measuring your site's visitors, search visibility, enquiries and bookings against the goals we agreed, finding what to fix or improve, and reporting the results to you.

How information is used

Only to build, run and improve your website, to communicate with you about it, and to quote, invoice and keep business records. I do not send marketing email.

Where it is kept and who can see it

How long it is kept

Project and performance information is kept while I look after your site and for up to 12 months after, then deleted. Billing records are kept for five years, as Australian tax law requires.

Your choices

You can ask to see, correct or delete the information I hold about you. If you have a concern about how it has been handled, email me and I will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
